IMPORTANT TOPIC NO. 1

So, yeah, I've pretty much gotten involved with the there-are-no-brakes-hold-on-to-your-hats Inception fandom, which basically means I've talked about nothing else on this LJ. And posted an unholy amount of fanfic - seriously, it's like NaNoWriMo only a whole lot more frenzied.

While I created this LJ originally for the topic of the Takarazuka Kagekidan, I realize I've not been really active in the fandom lately, and so I've realized that it might be time to start filtering the entries so people can read only what they're interested in.

If you're reading this entry right now, please take a moment to leave a comment and tell me which filter/s you'd like to be on - or not, as the case may be.

> Takarazuka Kagekidan
> Inception
> no need to filter

Thank you so much.

IMPORTANT TOPIC NO. 2

This is of the fandom-in-general type so I'm putting it on here too. Please, please, there's still a few days for you to bid for a fan work from help_pakistan.

I'm offering my beta services over there already, but that's not the important part. The important part is that I am really encouraging you to contribute whatever you can, in order to help the victims of the terrible floods there.

IMPORTANT TOPIC NO. 3

So have I mentioned that I signed up for dream_exchange? My assignment came in today. And I am now pretty much running around in a mad panic over it.

I mean, er, it's my first time to join these sorts of things, and I'm beyond happy I actually got paired up to try and come up with a GIFT for someone else - but then I'm now also starting to get a bad case of performance anxiety, boo me!

I can come up with topics all I want but until the story is written, beta'd, and sent off to its recipient I'll be as scared of the story as Cobb is of Mal.

*pace pace pace* *wears a furrow into the floor*

I'm starting to get busy at work so it's now or never - I'll have to get cracking on this tale now.

IMPORTANT TOPIC NO. 4

And, oh yeah, I signed up to be a beta at inception_beta.

Again, there's a first time for everything.

But just in case you saw my offer post and you were wondering about me, here are my credentials:

- native English speaker
- been writing for more than ten years
- my non-fiction work is archived online at Granado Espada: Dispatches from the New World and PJ Goes Pop!
- most of my fan fiction on this blog can be found here
- I can do language checks for both British and American English. [What's the other one called anyway? Brit-pick and, what, Ameri-pick? What a terrible word that latter one is.]
- I can handle het, slash, and femmeslash pairings.

And that's it!
