Not exactly save the date...

So, sigh of relief at the weekend because there is a judge in the extended family, and he's willing to be the presiding officer for when my partner and I tie the knot, and get this...the judge in question is a Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. My mum says he's actually apparently already set aside the 6th of July for us. *cue flail* We're going to be having the civil ceremony at his office. At the Supreme Court! Which I have never been to before! Which is absolutely both terrifying and giddy-making! The more work we get done on this, and we're doing it at rather the snail's pace right now, the more I'll be distracted.
During the same conversation with the parents, we got around to the question of "what are we all wearing" and my father said, he'd wear a suit coat, but jeans; so it's going to be like that, then, and my SO and I wound up scouting 'round for what he might wear - a good button-down and either a suit coat or a waistcoat [and he even looked around for fedoras - that was his idea entirely, too] and for what I might wear, since I said I intended to wear a dress and my mum immediately made fun of me, saying that the last time she'd seen me all dressied up was...my senior prom! I'm thinking a nice cocktail number or something, saw a particularly cute tweed strapless dress + matching bolero. I will have to buy colored tights to go with [fingers crossed I can get tights in TARDIS blue or something], and then shoes! I may or may not wear my nice heels. I want to see if I can get boots, heh!
