Okay, so I have a new fandom... Brothers & Sisters. At first I was utterly upset when ABC moved Grey's Anatomy (my very favorite show in the world) off Sunday night. It killed my Sunday night TV marathon, and I was skeptical that they would put something good in its place. But did they ever! The show is so good and really resonates with me as far as where I am in my life right now. Rachel Griffiths is just plain amazing and so is the whole rest of the cast. Anyway, now I have two nights of TV marathon. Ahh, there is just so much going on with my favorite shows I don't know where to begin.
Grey's is well continuing its trend of amazingness. I didn't think they'd be able to match the quality of episodes from season two, but so far, so good. I have to say last week, Drunk Addison made my life. But who could blame here, if McDreamy left me for a younger woman I would be hitting the bottle and drunk dialing by naughty, naughty ex too. Enter McSteamy! I have to admit the spoiler side of me knew it was coming, but still to see him there all... steamy, in a towel ...yah. I must admit Eric Dane is quite a hottie but come on people, the man is bad news! Up until the kitchen scene in the season premiere, you know the infamous Der/Mer "I made the wrong choice" speech, I converted. So now I am all for anything that brings them together, just as long as Addison remains queen of Seattle Grace (and Passive Aggressia). This week, Abby Breslin is guest starring and I cannot wait! Ever since Little Miss Sunshine that girl has earned a very special place in my heart.
Anyway, speaking of matters of the heart, I have a plea to the writers of The Office. PLEASE bring Jim Halpert back to Scranton. He's heartbroken, defeated and let's face who wouldn't run toward a promotion but if I have to go one more episode without the Pam/Jim banter I think I am going to burry some office supplies in jello as an act of rebellion. Pam and Jim are the Ross and Rachel of 2006 and until they are together, well... it just isn't pretty. So to sum up, Jim Halpert does not belong in Stamford.
Phew, okay so that's about it for my ranting on my fandoms except I do have to say a few words about the ladies of Wisteria Lane. Save the show! After season one those writers have totally been resting on their laurels and they need to tap into whatever it is that made the show so damn juicy. Bree with Orson is just trouble. All I ask is, don't hurt Bree!! I'd love to see Bree and Lynette tag team Orson and get back at him for killing whoever it is he killed. I mean, if Meredith Grey is dark and twisty, I cannot even phathom the words we could use to describe 0rson. Scary!
I'm sure all of you now thing I have no life. And uh, you'd be correct. Being sick only has it's advantages for the first couple of weeks and then you hit a state of spectacular boredom. I'm afraid my TiVO is going to start smoking any day now. This weekend I sent in my applications to Texas State University and UT Arlington, and while I dread the prospect of having to be in school two and a half more years - I think I am going to have a blast studying art. Anyway, it's funny the curveballs life throw you, and once you get passed the shock of having to come home from school, it's kind of cool to think about what lies ahead.
