Emory's Thought:
In the case of two AP results for individual language examinations (i.e., English Literature and English Language), credit may be awarded for either examination but not for both.
Brown's Thought:
Subjects in which course credit may be granted include American History, Art History, Biology, Chemistry, European History, French, German, Latin, Mathematics, Music, Physics, and Spanish
my thought: what about english!?!?! lol
well, I guess this makes me feel better about not taking composition 2.... they'll only give me credit for one and from what I've heard, language is alot easier then literature. I'm not saying I plan on going to Emory or Brown, but it just shows me that many of the colleges I'm looking at don't really care for some AP classes, and if they do, they only want 4's and 5's. If I go to USF or UF (or other FL schools) I'll get tons of credits for getting 3's and 4's and maybe 5's! (yeah, right lol). Maybe it's not such a bad idea to stay in state after all lol. We'll see how it turns out in July *crosses fingers*.... until then and beyond, the stress of college overwhelmes me
:/
