Last night
So I've been terribly sick for the past few days. Thankfully, Birdy's here to help me along and honestly, to take better care of me than I could for her. Especially last night, when I took Nyquil instead of Dayquil right before the start of Japanese class. About 1/2 of the way through class (which was shorter than usual) I completely crashed. It was thanks to her that I didn't drive and get myself injured. Granted, Charlie, JC, and Rachel helped out a bunch, but it was Birdy who helped me stand up after falling in the snow (twice) on a steep hill (I'm pretty certain it was a mountain) and held on to me to keep me from rolling down the other side. She also chose some good things for me to eat to energize me and get rid of the medicine from my body. We all wound up at my house (which I finally got to show her! w00t!) and hung out there for a short while. She let me read a tiny sample of the fic she's writing, and watch as she drew some of the characters from it. On a highly related note, I know what I'm getting her for Valentine's Day now! I must mount my valiant green steed now and be away!
