Nothing’s wrong Allie, just figured I should let you know that I’m taking two weeks vacation....
May 6th to May 20th…
Well I'm going to Hawaii...
It's not that surprising I do take vacations...
Occasionally...sometimes...
Ok never. Well I thought I'd-...I have also been told to tell you that from the 6th till the 20th of May Jo Lupo will be acting sheriff as sheriff Carter will be on his honeymoon in Hawaii- Allie...Alison are you there....Alison what was that crash...Allie."

Nathan has it all planed out in his head, he’ll sit Allie down and treat her to a nice dinner then slowly and as gently as he can tell her the truth.
The whole night was planed down to a T and Nathan was rather pleased that so far everything was going fine all he had to do now was the difficult part.
He looked into her eyes and she looked back, her eyes tinkling in the candle light. “Allie I have something that I have to tell you.“ Nathan took a deep breath and slowly let it out, taking in everything about Allie, the relaxed posture, the clothes and the way she idly spun the wine glass in her hand.
It was about then that it all clicked and Nathan realised this whole plan was a failure. The plan had rested on one key detail that was wrong.
Nathan coughed, “Allie, I think we should give it another try.” Nathan watched as his ex’s face froze as she registered what he said and the aborted smile became a gape, She stuttered before trying to pull back her composure.
Nathan just laughed then dragged his hand through his hair. He let Allie flounder for a few more minutes before putting her out of her shock, “I think that experiment could be useful if we just give it another go.” Nathan smirked as Allie took a big gulp of wine. “Oh and me and Jack are having sex.”
Nathan still mourns that top but not even SARAH can get rid of wine stains.

“Nathan there you are! I’ve been trying to call you but I think your house phone was disconnected and your cell was off” Allison pointedly scolded looking very much like a mother who had just caught their child sneaking in late.
Nathan just looked at her while feigning disinterest and then went back to typing up his report.
“Nathan!”
Nathan tried to hid the smirk that was threatening to come and continued to type all the while watching Allie on the surface of his monitor, she looked ready to implode.
“Nathan you can’t just be unreachable like that, what if something happened! I mean….” Allison floundered looking for something more to backup her point.
Nathan felt a twinge of sympathy so he saved his file put on a neutral expression and turned to face his ex-this was going to be so fun.
“Allison let me remind you that as I am no longer head of Global Dynamics there for I am not required to always be reachable and if something were to happen Fargo knew exactly how to get in contact with me should the situation become serious enough. Quite frankly I am disappointed that you honestly doubted that I would let myself be unattainable.” OK even Nathan would admit that that was a bit far but the look on Allie’s face is priceless.
“And even if Fargo could not contact me I would most likely be aware of it just as quickly as normal as Jack would have told me.” Nathan raised his eyebrow and waited for her to get it, after twenty-seven seconds he gave up.
“I was staying the night at Jackie’s…”Allie finally got it and promptly turned bright red. “ Did you know he makes the most intriguing noised if you bite this little patch of skin on his neck!” Nathan looked as Allie lost focus on him and stared at something then slowly swallowed.
When he realised what she was seeing he gave her a very wicked smirk and planned to ‘accidentally’ page her during a make-out session with his Jack.
