The gayness of Yoko Ono....
So.... Ive spent my first night in Tokyo in a hotel which was more than a 3 hour drive from the airport, had no internet access and was totally rubbish. I had my first day at uni today which was a total waste of time. I had to listen to some American man give a talk of "How to survive in Japan" for 2 and a half hours!!! Luckily we had a lunch break after that boring talk and I managed to escape but only because everyone else was meeting their host family after lunch and I just got to leave. I met my Aunt half way back to home and we went to a cafe which was nice and Im at hers now so that I can check my emails, write a few and update LJ.
So it breaks down like this, because Yoko doesnt like me I have to get a bus (6:30am) get 3 trains and a bus after the last train to get to uni. I tried it today and I dont know if Ill have the will or the energy to do it for a long time. I need to sort out my timetable asap!
I have to be there at 9am tomorrow to be shown around the campus and the area and I asked if I could not bother to go as I really dont care but apparently thats not an option.
Also my friends who live in halls arent allowed to have guests without written permission so I cant even stay with them till the orientations over. Another 4 days to go, thurs, fri, next tues, wed. Gay.
