Thank you! I'm a bit ahead of what I've posted and the whole fic has been outlined, but it is still a WIP, I'm afraid. I'm working hard on it, though, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long between updates.

I had a lot of sleepless nights fun working out how all this would fit into canon. I may or may not have created a spreadsheet with a big old timeline and a bunch of notes in different colors. Of course I could have just gone the complete AU route, but it's a lot more fun this way. :p

Thank you for reading! Ch. 2 still needs editing, but I should have it up before too long. The good news is that I have next week off work, the "bad" news is that it's Pride week here, so I'm not sure how much I'll actually get done. :/

Good point.
Of course, Blaine coulda had a deeper voice to begin with. I'm fully female, crazy-full of female hormones (like, have had three pregnancies kind of full of hormones) and my voice is crazy-deep. When I was 12, my dad phoned and when I answered he flipped out because he thought my mom had a man in the house. It was a huge source of insecurity all my life... now, it is great for making funny voices when reading the kids bedtime stories.

I'm reminded of Kurt's "No, she's dead, this is her son." :p It works the other way around, too. Some gals have deep voices, and some guys have high voices. I can't imagine that being fun for you though. *hugs* Glad you seem to making the best of it now though!
