448 mb of happiness.... POOF! gone.
i had a hard time today. too hard i didn't know if i wanted to cry or laugh.
i am probably one of the unlucky people today.
today, i found at around early evening that the hardsubbed honey and clover finale is finally out and ready for download.
i was waiting for this... actually, insanely waiting for this to come out because the episode before it was soooo beautiful i had to repeat the scenes for quite a number of times or so.. and i can wait no longer to get a glimpse of takashi kashiwabara (nomiya).
it took me five hours to download. and in that five hours that i had to wait, i managed to entertain myself so as not to constantly check the download rate.
1. i watched other stuff.
2. read about every possible thing i can find on the net. (i searched for heart evangelista even.<--see.)
3. i looked for a hair band so that in my process of watching honey and clover, all my mini hair would not keep getting in the way.
4. i postponed downloading the new cm of last friends that features ryo so that all the possible dl speed would go to honey and clover.
5. and so on and so forth..

"Honey and clover episode 11 has just finished downloading!"

at about 12:15 am, my 448 mb of happiness was done. it even read "seeding"<-- meaning i was starting to help other people because my download was finished.
i got my usb (which is becoming real unreliable these days.) and transferred the file from there to the flash disk that was supposed to keep your files safe so i could watch it in the other pc.as always, safely removing it was like hell. so i pulled it out and i was ready to watch.
i thought everthing was fine but media player read something like "file corrupted". media player classic second the former's motion. i felt like my world was crumbling. i had no copy left because when i transferred the file from the pc to my usb i picked "cut" instead of "copy". shit. at that time i was doing that there was some kind of voice telling me to use "copy". but i picked "cut". shit shit shit.
in short, 448 mb with two nomiya scenes (accrording to nov) was gone.
"Honey and clover episode 11 has just finished downloading!"
POOF!!
it's gone.
all that time spent on waiting did not have a good ending.
i opened torrent and started downloading again.

crap.
i was back to square one.
anyway, i guess i'll watch it tomorrow.
i think i'm meant to watch it tomorrow.
lesson of the story:
1. pick "copy" instead of "cut". just to be safe with files that are important to you.
2. don't trust your usb that much. it is not very reliable.
3. computers do not know everything. they still make mistakes.
4. there is a time meant for everything.
