Today I signed up at Planet Fitness because they're having a week long special where it only costs $1 to sign up, then the regular $10 a month. I went back after my meeting with my adviser and shooting to work out. I was on the eliptical machine for a mile, then did hardcore arms and shoulders and a light workout on my abs and legs. Overall, I was at the gym for a total of an hour and 10 minutes.
Goals:
-get in shape. And by shape, I don't mean lumpy like I currently am.
-drop a dress size a month.
-cut fast food, soda, and junk food out of my life.
-go to the gym 4-5 times a week.
How I plan to meet my goals:
-keeping a fitness diary
-keeping a daily diet diary of foods I eat
-go to the gym every Tuesday and Thursday directly after work, go every Wednesday and Friday before work, go either Saturday or Sunday.
-slowly cut back on the number of days that I eat or drink junk by choosing healthier meal options.
-weigh myself weekly.
I've decided that to make sure I meet my goals, I'll be updating this every day that I go to the gym, probably with a more detailed workout list and weight loses as I go. Because I'm super serious on making this actually work this time, any encouragement, advice, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated even though I know many of the people on my "friends list" on here, don't actually read this. :P
