(no subject)
i'm on my lunch break, so this one will be quick...i loved orientation and uga...it was amazing...i met some great people, especially katie and adele--both are going to be in myers next year...yay! i loved the slc and the coffee shop in it...i also loved my advisor...he is so sweet--he met with me for such a long time and answered all of my questions...he was like, "no, you can't take that class this semester because that professor won't teach you everything you need to know"...sucks that freshman had to register late- cause when i looked up the grade distributions of my professors(as compared to the others whose courses were already closed), it didn't look so good for me. oh well...it'll all be okay. before orientation, i didn't think i'd ever love uga, but i love it now...i can't wait to go...the food was great, the people were amazing, but most of all, i felt like they actually cared for us...so many students were so friendly...they helped me arrange my schedule and work the computer for a few hours...i also can't wait for dawg camp next week...i am also excited because my advisor told me about all of these different places where i can volunteer with animals---jessica's going to do it with me, too! one piece of bad news, though...ash pat, last year when i toured myers, they deceived me...they didn't show my the freshman floors--the freshman rooms are only slightly bigger than those in brumby...but it's very clean...i love the quad out front and the little study chairs all over the place...next year's going to be amazing..anyway, i better get back to work. oh yeah, i got the south parking deck...yay (not that i'll be driving anywhere)
