...Kiernan Diane was drug into this world kicking and screaming. 5:11 in the evening is when I first heard her cry. Her daddy held her in his arms until I was able to take her from him at almost 8pm.
She's quite honestly one of the sweetest little girls I know. She's creative, funny, sweet, sympathetic, nurturing, bossy, take charge, very smart and after spending a few minutes with her, very few will dispute that she's a very special little person.
I think she's a very old soul. She does things and says things from time to time that...she just shouldn't. Even as a newborn, everyone who held her and looked into her eyes said there was something there that was more...than whatever her chronological age was.
Today she's four years old. Four years. Man. It doesn't seem like its been that long. She does so much, she knows so much, she remembers SO MUCH. But as a little girl, sometimes things just don't stick. Thankfully, she's already forgot the bad babysitter from Virginia although she does remember the apartment we lived in for the better part of two years. I doubt when she's grown, she'll remember her time in Virginia at all... she's been in Indiana since she was just a month or so past her 3rd birthday exclusively except for a couple week long visits.
Four years old and she's already lived in 3 states. In just four years, she's lived in 5 houses/trailers/apartments...not counting 6 weeks in Mamaw and Papaw's garage and the other place I lived when she was in my belly.
I felt so bad for so long because I didn't bond well with her as a baby...but I love her so much now I can only hope that it makes up for it.
She's special, She's wonderful, She's mine, and she's 4 years old today.
