Daddy just got back from a business trip to San Francisco! It's good to have him back. Mom and I both missed him a lot. It wasn't really the same in the house without him.

He brought me two movies to watch, and a children's book so that I could work on my english. We watched Ghostbusters together today, and it was pretty silly. He and Mom thought ( Read more... )

You're Masaki Anzu, aren't you? One of Yuugi's friends? I see you're a fan of Eighties movies.

[Oh, incidentally, I simply adore Rocky Horror!]

Oh, the same as everyine, I'm sure. The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink... I like Brazil, have you seen it?

[We're still working on it. This computer is online, but none of the others.]

*is thinking maybe his taste in romance is more gruesome than a young girl's* Well, that's just one man's opinion. What movies do you like?

*would agree, if asked* I like a lot of different ones, newer and older. Phantom of the Opera, Rocky Horror Picture Show, October Sky, Elizabeth, Young Bess (my mother really likes things about Elizabeth I). The last three were a bit difficult for me to understand, though, because we couldn't get them in Japanese the first time I saw them. I still haven't seen Young Bess in Japanese, but it's getting easier to understand English so it's not a big deal.

I like Rocky Horror. *laughs* I especially like how they're all crawling in and out of one another's beds with their white underwear still in place. *smiles agreeably at her* So you're learning English, are you?

Yes! It's very good, and so funny.

Yes, I'm learning English. It's pretty difficult.

I haven't, but we were talking about doing that for Halloween this year. I don't know much about the holiday, but it sounds like fun. :)
