You and I are friends, I think your a very fun kind hearted person.However the way you've chosen to express your opinions on livejournal has shocked me and borderline offended me; based on the recent lj backlash im assuming the same holds true for others as well. I've stayed quite the duration of said posts b/c i respect your right to say whatever it is you feel, thats the beauty of our democratic society...but now that it seems we've reached an lj breaking point I just thought I'd let you know... the reason people are so annoyed with your posts(from my understanding) isn't because they so strongly disagree with your political views (even if they do), its because of the way you present them. Your posts aggravated me because in every single one, you addressed issues as if you were right and everyone who had a different opinion was an ignorant crowd following idiot. People will only stand for that so long before they tell u exactly how they feel about it. which is exactly whats happened. Bottom line, you shouldn't attack ppl. Oh and saying, "no offense" doesn't magically make ur statement nonoffensive. lastly, people would properly debate issues with you if you approached things from a less aggressive more level headed perspective.
I hope this helps even if just a little bit. I also hope that these political posts come to an end. The election is over and our President-Elect has been chosen. Theres no reason for all the lj tension.
