[Sup Ax, Coop sees you made it. This is a good thing.]

Unexpected is definitely a good description. Good to see you're alright.

[Coop's okay himself. Looks a bit roughened up, but who doesn't?]

Yes. I received equally unexpected assistance shortly before reaching Violet. I am relieved to see that you are also unharmed. [Ax-ese for GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN DEAN DALE!]

Then it is accurate to conclude that such events are not commonplace?

[It's amusing how these two both speak all proper. -pets them-]

[BUT YEAH no definitely not commonplace, so Coop shakes his head, looking grim.]

This is the first time I'm aware of anything like this happening. Considering how it caught all of us off guard I believe it's safe to assume that this is, in fact, the first time any group of pokémon have displayed this kind of aggression. We can only hope it will also be the last.

[Isn't it adorkable? *loves on them both*]

That is a relief, and I concur. It is alarming how long it lasted, as well. Hyperbole also seemed quite disgruntled. He is now back to normal, however.

Your starter?

[Curious. What are priorities.]

It did last for a long time ... I'd like to know how the person responsible manipulated these pokémon.

Yes, my Abra.

[Ax likes you Coop, ur smrt, so he is willing and happy to oblige your curiosity.]

The start of the attack was rather sudden, and as every place seemed to be attacked at the same time I would have to hypothesize that there was some type of high pitched frequency signal undetectable by the naked human ear. It would explain the Pokemon's erratic behavior. Their aggression also suggests a high level of repressed rage. Perhaps before hand they were trained to attack at the sound of this signal.

[Brains. Ax has them.]

[Ax. Ax you are getting so many bonus points. Coop grins briefly, but not very brightly, and his serious face is back on quickly.]

I had been thinking of some kind of signal as well. Negative psychological stimuli is as good as any means of manipulation. It would definitely fit.

[Bone-nus poy-nn-ttsss. Give me your bonus points. :D Ax nods the affirmative, approving of the fact that it had been Dale's theory as well.]

It does seem the most likely conclusion. It stands to reason that not all individuals in this world have good intentions.

[And even then, even the best intentions could lead to the most heartbreaking tragedies, but we're not going to talk about that, and Ax averts his eyes in shame at the very thought. When did you become so human, Ax?]

If we were to review the feeds up until the time the attack started then we may find answers. [OH HI DALE, looking at the camera again as if all is normal.]

Most seem to, thankfully, but in my experience no place is purely good.

[Except for the pony-world. He'd love to visit the pony-world.]

[...and okay, Ax, that's interesting. He takes a moment to just regard him before answering.]

We already know who did it and have a good theory as to how. What's missing is the motive.

[He's with the law enforcement, can you tell.]

Indeed. [Like my people. Depression forever.]

Perhaps an experiment, or a distraction, given that the attack seems to have finally subsided. I cannot, ott, OTT, imagine what, in this place could be worth distraction, however, depending on who the culprit is then experimentation might be a plausible motivator. Terrible things are sometimes done in the name of science.

I actually asked him. I got no substantial answers but it is possible that he is simply looking to harm people. While it might not be the sole purpose of this attack, I believe it is a factor.

[His voice takes on a hard tone, saying that. Does not approve.]

[Ax is not liking the sound of this guy. He sounds like a certain Visser that he knows. Just... the Visser was more likely to have found a way to slaughter the poor creatures once they were no longer of use.]

This is possible... [Ax looks as perturbed by the idea as he actually is.

There's suddenly a very real possibility that their worst enemy could come to Johto, something Ax had failed to account for previously.]

I apologize, but I must go, I need to find my friends.

[Ugh something has Ax spooked, for sure.]

...alright. I'll get back to you.

[That was sudden, but Coop can tell there's Something - and he'll bother Ax about it later. With that, he simply ends the feed.]
