The prospect of feeling alive never tasted so good. Of course, many things invigorate our senses and keep us wanting more out of life. For some, it's good food, a conversation with a loved one, or seeing your own flesh and blood grow up. Others I know record their child's every step, an indication of development, of hope, of a way forward. Some turn to vacations, big-name jobs and high pursuit of academic excellence elsewhere.
It's so nice to feel blood rushing into your veins, and experiencing incessent hope of LOOKING FORWARD. I don't care if you, the reader, know what I'm talking about because those who are in the know, know. Those who don't, don't need to know. There is not much to this, because it is purely invigoration right now. But I'm thankful for this new chance to feel alive, to feel blood popping out of my veins, to see everything in rose-tinted glasses, to look at that blade of grass when I was jogging in France and think it greener, more robust and more beautiful as a similar blade in good ol' sg. It's amazing what that one experience can do to you. :)
Thank you ;) for making everything look like cherry blossoms. I know this might pass, but everyone needs some of this once in a while. It sure hasn't come for a long time, and I'm glad it did, this very June.
:)
My only hope that if this passes, I will always remember how this feels; how it feels to be breathing your every life into another beautiful minute.
