Some stuff and some other stuff...

Today was a good day. I got some reading done, took a nice bath. Watched half of a Gilmore Girls episode and then Todd and I went shopping. I did alright (but by no means great) at not spending too much money. I did buy my brother some groceries that I am going to send him, and my dad a birthday present. No books this week though, I've really got everything I plan on reading for the next couple of months I think.

I do have a book that needs a good home. I found it in the back of the closet, it's in perfect condition, and is an ARC (advance reader's copy). Who ever wants it can have it.

L.A. Rex by Will Beall

(Back of Book)

A ruthlessly taut, gritty, and ferocious debut novel that drives deep into South central Los Angeles--and introduces a brilliant literary voice, bristling with the raw energy and authenticity of the author's experience as an LAPD officer who continues to parol the streets he writes about.

I guess I recommend that you look it up first and make sure that it's something you'd be interested in. Will send for free, cause I love you like that.

I downloaded (legally) 2 Cd's tonight when I got home. I got Avantasia Scarecrow (I think I put that right, I don't know it's very new to me) and Apocalyptica's World's Collide. My brother is actually at an Apocalyptica concert right now, after he told me the name of the band I looked it up and decided they were a new favorite. I rock like that.

Todd bought me Where The Wild Things are on DVD (it includes two other cartoons) that I plan on watching with Rain and Xavier tomorrow. And I'm convinced that Brandy, Todd's oldest niece, is having a girl. At first, to be honest I was pretty appalled that she was preggers, but now I'm getting exited.

I'm loving Ink Exchange and hope to get a bit more reading in tonight, but I have a documentary I want to watch and I want to finish this Gilmore Girls and also see if this show I read about, which the name of I can't remember, but it's apparently set in Victorian England.

Well, that's all for now I guess.
