I was really planning on writing yesterday, but Amber came over and we watched most of Clerks. Somewhere in there we stopped to have a smoke and then started talking and talking and so on and the next thing we know the damn DVD player turned itself off and when we went to turn it back on (I thought it had just went into some sleep mode) it was back at the beginning. I really love Clerks, but I've seen it so many many many times it just doesn't do what it use to for me. That really makes me a bit sad.
I've learned over the last few weeks that Kevin Smith is now working on a horror film. Which catches me in a rough place because I've vowed to see every movie that he ever makes, but I HATE horror flicks. Todd likes them though, so I'm sure I can curl up next to him and try to watch it. But sadly, I doubt I'll see it on big screen. But I like giving Kevin my money, and it seems that none of his films really make big bucks at the box office (though Clerks II probably made quite a bit, and I don't know how well Strike Back did)
I watched the new Fox Show Back to you with Kelsey Grammar and the chick from Everybody Loves Raymond last night. It was actually pretty good. Todd talked about how stupid it was going to be but I caught him laughing a couple of times. He told me he was just laughing because Kelsey Grammar was just Frasier on a different show. I think he may be right, but oh well. I still enjoyed the show.
I record all episodes of Criminal Minds that are on and just today watched the season finale of last season. Wow....that was something else. The ending was a tad shocking. And I loved Garcia's role, and when Hodge goes through and points out the personalities of each of the team members.
I still have that season of Rome, it's SOOO late at the video store, but I've not been in the mood to watch it. I may have to just take it back tomorrow and rent it again when it's cheaper and I have more time. Though I'm only working a few days a week on the next couple of schedules, so I guess this would be as good a time as ever.
I have letters to reply to now. I just wanted to update on my tv watching apparently.
