Some good news!
I have good news for all of you who were actually worrying about my life!
Firstly, I do NOT have to go before the recruiting board to apply for consciencious objector status unless a draft is instated. Reason for this: I bitchslapped my father into a compromise.
Secondly, ALL OF MY PSU PREREQUES ARE TAKEN CARE OF! I was worried when their website said that I needed three units of college prep. math considering I only took two, but Mr. Swearingen said that PSU counts Algebra I as college prep. math even if you took that in middle school. SWEET! I've started the application process and since my GPA is more than good enough to get me in I'm alllllll set!
Thirdly, I CAN TAKE AUSTIN TO PROM AS MY PARTNER! Mr. Swearingen gave me this funny look when I asked him, like I was crazy or something. He told me that would be fine, then double checked, and apparently I am crazy for thinking there would be a problem with that. There was much glee to be had which amused him greatly.
I don't have to worry about my SAT scores because PSU will accept me based on my GPA. I'm still shooting for perfection (or as close to perfection as it is possible to get) even though I know I won't get it. It's nice to dream, though.
I've decided to go for a bachelor of arts with a major in psychology and a minor in Japanese. Kind of random, but it'll be fun. I still need to speak with an advisor to find out exactly what that will entail, but I'm really excited to get started. Really excited. Really, really excited.
