Christmas '06
So, my family hosted Christmas this year, so Christmas Eve, everybody was at my house. We had dinner early (LynneAndAngie had to get to church early to help set up) and nobody killed anybody, so I was glad. We opened all our presents from each other after dinner and everybody went home by about 7, though Quen and Suzie stayed a little longer. I went to bed early because I felt bad (I'm sick, btw) but woke up at 4:30 in the morning. Santa still comes to our house, which I like. I went downstairs at like 5 AM to see what I got. =) Good stuff. Definitely. So here's the list o' stuff, mostly for my own benefit, because I want to see what I got from whom.

2. Crossword puzzles and a crossword dictionary from Aunt Noelle (and Uncle Max and my cousins Jake and Charlie)

4. Bring It On on DVD from Quen
5. Stuffed Eeyore from Kat
6. Page-A-Day calendar of trivia from Becky
7. Three-hole punch from my parents (trust me, I wanted one)
8. Cool wooden box and gift card from Uncle BJ
9. Tiny stocking, candy, and lotion from Joe and Dar (old family friends whom I haven't seen since I was like 8)
10. Sims2 expansion from Piecey

I'm really excited to get an MP3 player, and to be honest, to get the shirts too. I like button-down shirts, and the sweaters are really nice too.
At the moment, I'm sick, which completely sucks. I've felt like hell for a couple days now. Thankfully, I have all of my new Sims stuff loaded, and I have a new mouse, so I can sit and play on my laptop all day. I really don't feel like doing much else. I'm supposed to be at the day care this week, but there's no way I can go in like this. I just feel gross and tired. In fact, I think it's time for me to quit for the night. Gimme a call or IM me if you'd like to distract me from teh sick. ;-)
