30 Days Meme: Playing Catchup (Days 2-6)
Have I mentioned I suck at consistently doing things every day?
Day 2: Favorite movie
See, this is why this meme is hard for me... there's a lot of stuff where I have a 10-mile list of favorites, but not one specific one. A random few favorite movies, in no particular order: The Simpsons Movie, The Secret Garden, Star Trek IV (the one with the ~whales~), See No Evil Hear No Evil, The Wizard of Oz, and The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'd say that's a pretty eclectic mix, yeah? I'm also generally up for any cheesy 80s movie, especially ones made by John Hughes.
Day 3: Favorite TV Show
Again, I can't pick just one: The Simpsons, Star Trek TOS and TNG, The Venture Bros, and House.
Day 4: Favorite book
*sigh* I don't have a favorite book either. I suppose if you put a gun to my head, I'll either blurt out One Child by Torey Hayden, or The Teenage Liberation Handbook by Grace Llewellyn. Neither are fiction; pretty much the only novels I read are Harry Potter and Douglas Adams books.
Day 5: Favorite quote
Is from Star Trek, the episode where a planet is being controlled by the evil computer... Landru? Was that it? Anyway, the quote is "Without freedom of choice, there is no creativity. Without creativity, there is no life." I'm also pretty fond of saying "I have to go now, my planet needs me", which of course is from The Simpsons.
Day 6: Whatever tickles your fancy
Now that we're past the favorites section this meme should go more smoothly. Whatever tickles my fancy? Well, in honor of Saint Nicholas Day, have this: (audio is NSFW)
