A lot can happen in one week, that's for sure.

I pretend like this story began last Thursday, but it really started a few months ago. But..things didn't begin to heat up until Thursday, so that's where I'll begin.

Last Thursday, I was talking to Nick and I mentioned how this Spring Break would be perfect to go to Japan because my Japanese teacher canceled class for a few days before and after normal spring break week. Or, we could go for Tokyo Game Show but we would miss school, the airfare would be more expensive, and TGS will probably be closed to the public this year. So, I suppose once I mentioned that we could probably go for 10 days, and it only cost around $1,000 for the airfare and 10 nights hotel, he said, "let's do it."

Nizar kinda got left out of the inital idea, because I had tried to tell him eariler that we should go, but he didn't think his parents would let him unless it was for something specific like TGS. Anyway, I told Nizar that Nick and I were going and to TELL his parents that he's going too.

The next day, Nizar told me to go ahead and start seriously looking for hotels and stuff, because his parents were okay with it. Since last Thursday, I found this hotel in Ueno, Tokyo for 10 nights and booked it, as well as the airfare after I got the checks from Nizar, Nick, and my dad for me.

Anyway, March 9-20, I'm going to Japan, again.
We've decided to skip all of the tradtional things like shrines, old museums, zoos, aquariums, and temples, and go straight for the bright lights and video game stores. Very shallow, I admit, but there's plenty to do. I've checked out all of the attractions, and made a loose plan of each day.

Actually, I probably should have chilled out until the middle of February to start planning, because..I'm almost done and there's still over one month to go.

The end.
