Ok I decided. After ten shows with ART, I realize I am just about done. I think I’m pretty much doing the same thing over and over. I don’t learn anything unless I do shows outside unfortunately. I want to go…so I am sitting in my NATS class ensuring that I will graduate in May.
I went to the UPTA’s in Memphis this weekend. It’s a big conference type of audition that tons of companies go to, to cast for summer and year round work. I got an offer to do a 9 month tour of As You Like It with the National Players out of Washington D.C. Then an audition to play Hamlet at festival 56 outside of Chicago and the best was another audition to play Hamlet at the American Shakespeare Center. I would love to do that, but it’s kind of a long shot since it’s a big ol’ equity company. It would be cool though; I want to play that again for sure.
I’m starting Closer on Sunday. That’s cool.
Bored bore bored. I can’t wait to move.
