House meme, Day one
Okay, so I thought to get myself into the swing of things, I'd start doing a House meme. Probably not the best time to do it as it's Christmas and I'll probably be away from the computer at some point, heaven forbid.
However, I'm gonna go ahead and do it anyway.
Day One: Your favourite episode.
I thought about this for quite a while, and in the end, I have to pick two. I couldn't possibly wittle it down to any less.
The first, is One Day, One Room from season 3. Now this episode isn't filled with laughs or Hameron moments - it's not even particularly filled with much medical mystery, but I love this episode purely for the fact tha House is open with another person. He doesn't want to be the one that Eve wants to talk to, but he sticks with it and is there for her, trying to talk about the little things. I love the he's nervous about how to handle the situation, I love that he opens up at the end in the park and I love how passionate he gets when talking about his beliefs. I love the philosophy and the depth behind the storyline, a thing they do a few times across the programe.
I also love the start where the guy with the coakroch in his ear is running round and round, and all the others are trying to calm him down or do something and House just watches him with squinted eyes, his brain working at 100mph to figure out what this guy is doing... :')
The second is Half-Wit from Season 3 also. I'll get the obvious reasons out the way, the kiss. As soon as I said half-wit, every hameron reading this said those two words in their head, and yes, I'm guilty: I love that kiss. Even if its for only a few seconds, I personally see House giving into his feelings. That wasn't a half-hearted kiss. He meant that and she meant that. I also think when he's rubbing his lips afterwards, he even looks a bit hurt/dissapointed? Maybe thats my Hameron soul looking into things too deeply.
Other than the obvious, I love the musicality of this ep. In any episode I love seeing House playing the guitar or piano, but when he plays it in this episode with Patrick and he looks so at peace and so happy, it warms my heart :')
I also love the hug that Chase gives House and the talk that Foreman gives him - where House sits there like a good little boy for Foreman and asks Chase if he's crying or not ;) Love it.
