no, no the yo yo I'm refering to is a greeting, and yes it probably has something to do with the fact that it was old-school hiphop day on 88.1 and I listened to the humpty hump.
anyway, I've been sidetracked.
the real point of this livejournal update is to tell anyone that still bothers to read it that I am happy.
yup, totally happy.
it's probably a jinx just to write that down. but it's definitely the truth.
I have sweet friends, I almost quit my job today, only to be unexpectedly offered a one dollar raise. that means I am now being paid $9 an hour just to play with blocks. most of the time lately I don't even have to do that! I just sit outside the gym playland and read.
plus sitting at the gym for 2 hours provides lots of inspiration for my new novel...which I have decided will just be lots of short character assesments of lame people I see/meet on a day to day basis.
it's shaping up to be pretty hillarious.
okay, so to top it all off, the one thing that kind of sucked was that I was getting very few hours at my current job, so instead, I got a raise, and I am fairly sure that midtown (the local headshop for all that don't know) is going to hire me in the next few days.
I am on top of the goddamn world.
