This is so weird. Every ironic author uses the same vocabulary. For example, the word "pneumatic." I can't even figure out what it means exactly. It either means filled with air, or "having a full bust." Why can't authors just use normal words that make sense in the context of the book? Pneumatic is in Brave New World at least thirty times, used to describe everything from chairs to girls, and now it's in 1984, used to describe a tube that holds paper. How annoying. "Infatigable" was in Brave New World at least ten times, but it just means incapable of tiring.
