This is the SHSU Chorale performing at TMEA (Texas Music Education Association), which is the biggest deal for any orchestra, choir, or band in the state of Texas. This concert is not perfect but we worked hard for a year and put a lot of blood, sweat, tears and love into this program. See notes below to find music you might enjoy!
SHSU Chorale: TMEA 2010 by
Austin Ishee If you are not familiar with choral music then I suggest listening to Beautiful Dreamer & Ezekiel saw the wheel!
If you like classic choral music I would listen to Sehnsucht & Himmel Strahlt, both were written by Brahms.
If you like American choral composer like Eric Whitacre, I would listen to the Ave Maria by Morten Lauridsen.
If you like British music listen to A Hymn to the Virgin or Coronation Te Deum.
If you want to hear something very old listen to the Alleluia and the Dum Transisset!
Last but not least if you want to hear something strange listen to Tuul Konnu & Kanarbik, these pieces are in Estonian....
By chance if this player doesn't work or you'd like to download something I have copies I can upload. :)
Btw, I'm the only person wearing glasses in this picture. :)
