Yeah, I cried.
I hate hate hate Donna's ending. Even though the Doctor is all like "she'll never be forgotten, there are people praising her name all across the universe (?? how do people even know it was Donna)" or whatever it was he said, she's still back to where she was before they met: a woman who doesn't care very much about anything and it unhappy with herself. Not fair, not after everything she did and saw.
But! I like that Rose finally got to be with the Doctor. In whatever form. Even though I'm not a huge Rose fan, I'm glad she got what she wanted. What annoyed me was that they (both Doctors!) STILL can't just say they love her. When real!Doctor asks "does it need saying?" I snapped "yes, for the thousands of fans waiting for it, it does" at the screen.
There were other parts I thought were lame, and a bit of Doctor Who style horror, when the reality bomb disintegrates all those people. And the Doctor all alone in the end. Yeah, right, he has the biggest family in the world.
I would have loved him to try the classic "come with me" line on Wilf in the end :P
And argh, cybermen at christmas. The daleks are bad enough (I laughed at the daleks speaking German, it was too cringe-worthy :D Exterminieren! It's not even a German word.) but the cybermen are so annoying they're not even funny anymore. As far as I'm concerned the cybermen and the daleks have the same problem: People thought they were far out and scary in the '70s, but now they're a bit... slow. Give me modern meanies any day.
