fic & fandom rant
SO UNFAIR!!!!
Not only do I keep managing to become obsessed with lil bitty diddy fandoms (HSM, LoM, Scrubs) and/or diddily-supported pairings within said fandoms (Chad/Ryan, JD/Cox)
I have yet another new fandom obsession (LoM) that I just CANNOT WRITE!!!!
Its bad enough that I cannot write Dr/Jack - and with the combined pretty that is Tennant/Barrowman, theres summat DRASTICALLY WRONG with that, but now....
I've been involved with LoM for a month at MOST, luckily with my OTP of Sam/Gene appearing to be a main pairing in the fandom. And the list of fics in my memories has already surpassed those I had managed to collect for Dr/Jack!
What IS it with the BBC atm?! I don't recall them bringing out such fantabulousness when I was still in school, and possibly had some imagination that wasn't buried in stress, uni, and work!!
And no, this DOESN'T make sense and I doubt that its suppossed to!
I'm just bemoaning the fact that theres not an archive for LoM slash like SSA!
And the fact that more Dr/Jack doesn't exist!!!
I also want to poke the HSM fandom. hard.
After HSM2, all I could see was the uber-obvious CHOY!
But after some searching, the main pairing I seemed to find was Chad/Ryan, and after watching 'I don't dance' again, I became intrigued.
BAD THING.
I now have OVER 40 entries in my HSM memories - undoubtedly ALL Chayan fic!!!!
its just unfair!!! why do I always fall for the diddy fandoms?!
I mean, JD/Cox in scrubs is bad enough - its the main SLASH pairing, but the fandom is so small. But at least I've managed to have a stab at WRITING this pairing!
Whereas Doctor/Jack and Sam/Gene and Chad/Ryan? I find IMPOSSIBLE TO WRITE!!!!!!
