people here actually wear giant belt buckles and cowboy boots... like to class! it amazes me. shirts are tucked in faces are shaved and hair is cut. We will see how it looks in December, but i have feeling it will be very similar... i'll keep you updated though. There is a kid here with a mohawk, only one kid. he also has a patch on his jacket of an american flag with an X through it. Apparently there is a group of guys that want to jump him because he's "disrespectful". I just think of what some of these kids would do if they went to duluth... wow. My animal science teacher told us that the organic movement wasn't ever going to really catch on and that over half the population in the US would still eat "regular" food rather than organic. My biology teacher told us about the layer of glass surrounding the earth that keeps the heat in and that theorists think there might be something called "global warming" and this "global warming" might be from humans, but the earth is still much cooler than is has been billions of years ago so we really shouldn't worry too much. My chem teacher is a nutball and I'm undecided on my riding instructor. When I'm finished here I will have had more years of formal education than she has. On a field trip yesterday a kid said Liv Tyler is old now, she must be like 23. *sigh* So, i haven't made any friends of legal age and therefore have not been able to check out the bar scene of which i suspect there is none in crookston but it is probably lively over in Grand Forks. oh well. such is life
