chicago = best city ever
so im home again, and i had the time of my life in chicago, as expected. the ride up there wasnt too bad and me lore age and ash had lots of fun being gay and talking.
our first stop was the navy pier and we rode the ferris wheel and got a great view of the shore line and the lake and everything surrounding that area. it was beautiful. then we got most of our souvenir shopping for people done in the little shops inside some place and got back on the bus and went to our hotel, the Double Tree Club Hotel. it was alright, nothing to spectacular. and when we got there i found that the stereo i dragged all the way in my bag and about broke my back trying to lug it around didnt even work! hahah it was funny tho..."dammit wish we had some music maddie!!" loll then we all got dressed up and looked hott and went to Andy's Jazz Cafe for dinner. there was a live jazz band playing and it was just like from the movies where there are all those little tables and they're real close to the stage and everything...it was greatt. i bought a shirt that says andy's jazz on it and stuff. greatt time. after dinner came the best part of the whole trip - the Blue Man Group. words dont even describe how awesome the show was. it was so...life changing!!! i got my ticket signed by the hott blue guy's finger print haha. if you ever get a chance to go see their show, you have to take it - you'll love it.
the next day (friday) we got up and went to the holography museum which was a waste of time. we were there for like a half hour and it was really boring and stupid. then we drove past Harpo Studios!!! that was exciting. shopping on Magnificent Mile was truly magnificent haha. we've never shopped so fast in our lives tho, seeing as we had like 3 hours or so. but i got a pretty good amount of stuff and i still have money left over. after shopping we went to the art institute and that was also a waste of time. me eric lauren ashlyn and adrienne just sat in the cafeteria the whole time and laughed and made noise and were obnoxious..the usual haha. it was fun just chilin there tho. then we went to the Sears Tower and that was soo cool. the view was amazingg and you could see everything. very emotional. got lots of good pics. that nite we just chilled at the hotel and ate some detestable pizza and swam and stuff. that was fun, we were all so tired that we said some really gayyy/funny things haha...good times.
saturday was six flags and we really could have done without going there too since there's a geauga lake like a half hour away from girard, but that was fun anyway. lots of fun pics and good memories and bonding time. me and lauren sang karaoke!!! we did bye bye bye by nsync haha. it was sooo funnyyy. we did lots of random stupid things thru out that day, and that nite on the way home we were free stylin hahah and me and eric had a battle. that was prolly one of the funniest parts of the whole trip. later that night i got my tarot cards read by Andrew Crown and that was really cool, i read his too. it was wierd but sweet at the same time. very interesting cuz a lot of what he said abotu me was true and he dusnt know me that well at all. but that bus ride was a fun one too.
after everything is said and done i would never trade those 3 days for anything in the world. i had so much fun and made so many memories that i couldnt even put them all down. i bonded with so many ppl and my friendships are so much stronger with all of them. i cant wait to go back to that city again. <3
congratulations to matt for winning first place at the talent show friday night and congrats to chrissy who got third! matt: you know your songs are awesome and so are you, and you more than anyone deserved to win. christina: keep singing sweety! you're guna be famous one day and im guna be your biggest fan!
to lauren and ashlyn, im so glad we got to spend the chicago trip together. i cant imagine doing it with anyone else. i love you girls!
to eric, we have too many memories to write down or even think of, and they're all so emotional. you are one of the greatest people i know and if you even forget about me when you graduate i'll be pissed!!! haha i love you more than words <3
