I apologize for such a long wait, and I wish I had pictures to make up for it, but alas, I do not. Even so, I felt I should update the journal with an explanation.
Well, as it would go, I had more pictures to put up with a brand new camera. As a present from someone that I love dearly, I received a camera- a Nikon Coolpix Silver with 5 megapixels... a point and shoot camera. It was not sophisticated in the least, but I loved it and it was an improvement on my aging Samsung whose lens blurred most every picture. With the recent snow, I seized the opportunity to create wonderful images, even with the icy roads and dangerous driving conditions.
Unfortunately, that aspiration was put on hold. While at a gathering of strangers at a close friends' house, I brought my camera and that proved to be a mistake. Halfway through the festivities, my camera went missing along with the 1 gigabyte memory card inside and with it, all of my images. Most were personal images, but about 30% of the images stored on the card were meant for this very journal. I searched everywhere for it, but could not find it and suspect foul play, aka theft. While my friend has offered to replace it, I regret to inform you that there may not be anymore pictures for a long while. It would be just a little while, but patience would be much appreciated. I am trying my best to either find the camera or replace it. Theft is a petty and selfish crime and I never thought I'd be the victim of such.
Thank you and again, I apologize for the lack of photos.
