"This is a day straight out of the catoluge kids. Of course they don't put pictures of us truding through the snow in our boots." Definetly the Quote of the day by Lauren. And its really true, everyones outside studying on the hill and playing catch and frisbee and even some kids sititng on the lawn with ticki tourches and a hibatchi girl. haha. It's so beautiful, I went running, out the back entrance of HC and down through Millbury. Now I remember why I love running. Definetly running Freihofers in June and definetly the happiest I've felt in a month. I'm contemplating maybe training for a marathon. I don't know if I could ever do it right now but it would give me something to aim at. I would love to run a half marathon this summer.
As much as this sounds like I'm a Catholic school nerd, I'm so excited for when they pick a new Pope. You get to see the white smoke and everything, which I have obviously never seen. And I think it would be so amazing if an African Cardinal or South American Cardinal or someone else from a thrid world country got picked, showing that the Catholic church was truly serious about social justice and bridging the gap between Christians and Muslims and other issues that John Paul II started.
As an incentive to get me to stop biting myself I promised myself a manicure and pedicure if I grow my nails out to a good length. Definetly been eating a lot better lately too, no more iced tea, pop tarts and frozen yogart, healthier stuff at upper and eating fresh fruit and salad with lunch and dinner. And losing a couple pounds has been a nice reward. And I've been steaming through self-help books. Been one a whole self-betterment kick, inside and out, its been kind of good. If I can't have control over anything else I atleast want to become a better, stronger person, inside and out.
