Well, I've been quite the world traveller these days. Tuesday I went to Boston with Scott. It was amazing. We took the T into Boston, walked around the Public Gardens/Boston Commons, then walked down Newbury Street and pretended we were rich and shopped at Burberry and Armani and of course the required stop at Newbury Comics, my favorite store in the whole wide world. Sadly we didn't have a long time to shop there, but I could spend hours in that store. Then we went to the Prudential Center and ate lunch at this restuarnt that was on the very top floor. It was so cool, we were sitting right near the windows and you could see all of Boston from where we were. And the food was good too. Then we walked down to Symphonay Hall to go to the Boston Pops Christmas Concert. They were so good and it was so different from a Tamarac High School Band Concert, although they did play Sleigh Ride as an encore!!! It was a great day with Scotty. Then I went to NYC yesterday with my dad and sister and brother. We saw the Rockafeller tree and the 5th Ave windows and walked around a lot and went to a huge used CD store, where I got a Gershwin CD, a Copland Cd and a Pogues Cd for 10 bucks.(I saw lots of Charles Mingus CDs abbey!) Awesome. And ate at this gorment pizza place, where a pizza cost 17 bucks, but it was so good. And we walked by an NYU dorm and I thought of Matt being here. It kind of makes me wish I had gone to NYU or BU or a college right in the city. At Holy Cross all the propaganda is that you can take a 40 minute bus ride to Boston anytime you want and that its practically the same as being in the city, but actually walking around you realize there's a big difference between taking the bus to Boston and being able to walk out your dorm into the city. Thats so cool. I think that some people tried to sway me away from that because they didn't think I was mature enough or could handle myself in a big city and I listened to that instead of listening to myself but I guess theres nothing I can do now. I love HC and I'm so happy there, just slightly jealous of Matt.:) Well Merry Christmas everyone!!
