AHHHHHHH! I just wrote this HUGE entry about the show on friday, and I lost it. *bangs head against wall* Well, here's a shorter version because I don't feel like putting time in to remembering it all. My brother, Cara, Jon, and I went together, but we ended up being like an hour late, thus missing pedro the lion. I was pissed, and I couldn't believe Dave Bazan wouldn't postpone the show cuz I wasn't there yet. ;) However, Death Cab was amazing, of course. Mello, yes, but I'm still always happy to see them live- especially Ben cuz he rocks out in the most adorable way - bouncing back and forth and such. HEHE! I was happy cuz they played "Styrofoam Plates" and "The Sound of Settling." Ben Kweller was also quite good, even though he was bass playerless (he broke his wrist!). He played a really short set, which was sad, and he didn't play Lizzy or I Need You Back, so I was sad. But he was adorable, and had a stage presence that was just like I expected. teehee! He still put on a good show for being a one man act! I hope I got some good pics of him, cuz I had a nice clear shot quite a few times. *Crosses fingers* The only thing yucky about the show was how HOT and smokey the Vic was - EWWW. The pants I wore STILL smell like smoke. Smoke is like the worst smell ever, especially when it's stale and in your hair. YUCK YUCK. In other news, I bought the FREAKS AND GEEKS DVD boxed set this weekend, YAY! Brianne and I watched two episodes (she'd never seen it), and I got her hooked. God, I forgot how FREAKIN AWESOME that show was. And SAM! Teheee! He is the funniest/cutest character ever. Janine also visited me a bit on Saturday, and I got to see Jessy briefly Sat. night at a holiday inn (not going into it lol. Oh brianne, I don't know about Drake, hehe...!!?) Allright, I'm tired of retyping crap so I'm gonna go. byebye! :)
