Lots of stuff...

So, I have my drawing portfolio which is due next week. I have 6 pieces, and I need about 15-20, so I'm going to the Metropolitan Museum tomorrow to sketch a bunch of sculptures. God, I still can't believe I live here. It amazes me. People from all over the world come to see the Met, and I can go anytime I want. So, I'm anxious to see how my portfolio will come out. I have to paint, which is what's going to get me. I'm also brainstorming a project for my design class, which is due December 20. I really can't believe that this semester is so close to ending.... but I'm SOOO glad. It's been a very hard semester. And, in fact, as much as I love it here, it really hasn't been a great semester. I've just been behind, and trying to adjust to the Parsons lifestyle. I think I'm definitely getting there. I'm really excited, because I'm going to see Handel's Messiah on December 5th. Really stoked. It's my fave. Oooh- a possible development in my love life- I met a really cute and great guy, who is also an artist, and he's going to coach me on my portfolio this weekend or Monday. Yeah! His name's Eric....
I'm really still caught in the middle of thinking about taking the semester off Fall 05. Gr..... I want to. I just don't know yet. There are so many projects that I want to do, that I don't have time to do!!! I'm really getting into graphic/web design, and I also want to start doing filmmaking and videomaking. There's so much that I'm interested in, and I think to define success for myself, I would have to say that I just want to be really skilled in many different types of art. Except drawing and painting, which I love to look at, but hate to do.

Until next time.... Peace.
