THIS.]Tracking Sam down on the beach turned out to be easier than she thought it would be. Then again, she should have figured it would be easy enough, considering that Sam was six-four. Expecting Dean to grin stupidly, she just shot him a look telling him to can it. "And yes, I noticed you were blond around the time you threatened Lamia."

"So... where'd you go to law school?" Sam asked.
"Hastings." Lindsey watched him carefully. "Why?"
"I went to Stanford."
Lindsey gave him a look, then smirked. "Wasn't what you were thinking it would be like?"
"More like reality caught up with me."
"Yeah, sucks when it does things like that."

Dean looked up at her with a what look on his face. Dean wasn't entertaining threesome fantasies -- much. He just shrugged after that, before nodding. "Not a problem for me. Up to you two."

He then looked up at the boys. "I ain't looking to be a problem here. I get that you boys are on vacation. Hell, better here than having to trail you around some small midwest town all decked out. Boys got taste, and I can appreciate it. Just tell me where I can go, where I can't, and a number to reach you and you'll never see me until it's time to go."
Sam shrugged. "I can deal with that. Though not sure you're going to want to disappear on us."
"Kid, I lived on the run from these guys for years without any magical protection beyond what I made myself. And I appreciate Felicia's concern here and I'm willing to go along with this, but I'm not about to sit around and check in every few hours like a parolee with a fucken ankle bracelet."

Ruby thought that was dangerously close to a compliment, but she wasn't going to push it. Instead, she just turned back to Felicia with a head tilt. "You have it, right?" It being a rather lovely sharp and pointy stick she had fashioned for her friend a few years ago.
"Of course I do," Felicia said with a smirk. "Never leave town without it. So yes -- you boys are basically the back up plan."
Dean held his hands open with a smirk. "See -- we're good with being back-up. Plus -- whatever you did to my car should be working, so as far as we're concerned there, we're good."

"Though a few beers one night isn't a bad idea," he said, trying not to glare at the blonde next to him.
Sam had pulled out a receipt from his pocket and scribbled a number on it before handing it to Lindsey. "Mine's on top, Dean's is below it."
"Thanks." Lindsey pocketed the paper. He'd add it to his cell phone later.

Sam chuckled at that, glad to find out the man at least had a sense of humor.

Ruby watched her go, shaking her head slightly. "Alright -- so I guess we're done then."

"I hope so. I'm ready for a nap."

Sam gave a half wave, then went to stand next to Ruby. "You sure you don't want to stay?"
