Idaho was awesome. Got bumped off of a couple of flights on the way to the Salt Lake airport, Katie rescued me in Houston, and finally got there a day late, and had to leave a day early in order to make a flight. Yadda yadda. Got cornered by some guys who wanted to convert me to spear-fishing and scuba-diving. Heard a freshman girl say this on the bus to the school: "I'm getting married in August. Or... on Friday." Whatev! Rexburg/Sexburg was as I remembered, only warmer, with a lot of bread, sleep, walking, longboarding, fun people, and, this time around, with Flambards.
Flambards is a mini-series that aired on Yorkshire Television in 1979, and takes place in the early 1900's. How anybody has heard of this, I have no idea, but Cam had it on DVD and we watched it (3 discs) in two days. It was both ridiculous and great, and the theme song is very choice.
On the 22nd, before Idaho, we had a going away party for Kristofer, who left us for a job in California. Ashley posted these pictures on Fbook, so here you go:
Kristofer at the "surprise!" moment. Notice the butt balloon... how could you not?
Kris and Andy, with Andy's pictures. My favorite is the giant one in the background, of a car accident (sort of).
Kris is in California now, and it's made him even hotter! Ow ow!
I don't feel like typing anymore, but it was fun to see Philip at work today, I wish Andy would get back from Houston because I miss him, Flambards is life, sprouts make sandwiches so much better, Aki is gross, and I want to watch Home Movies.
Later, LJ!
