As they said it once, another year is over. It's not totally over yet but what have I done this year. Do I look back and say yeah I achieved my goal or will I say this was just another year. Or will I even say this was just a failure. I guess it's a bit of all three. THis year has had it good things but even its bad things. My worst period of the year was probably the last few weeks or even months. The rest of the year was okay. I can't remember most of it and I don't even know why!! I'm pretty screwed up the last couple of weeks. Been having headaches for weeks, been hardly online. Didn't wanna talk to anyone, not even my best friends. Mom has been bugging about me barely talking but let subject drop after a couple of days. Thank God, cuz if I don't wanna talk you can't make me talk. And better for you if you don't even try. Anyways some good things are, when the dogs got home when they were gone for 2 weeks. God did I miss them.
Now some things in general, things that happened in the world around us.
THis year started off very bad in Volendam a city here in the netherlands. When a cafe was in flames just after midnight!! The place was full with teenagers!! Some of them died others are burned seriously and will always be reminded of that fire last year.
Toulouse, when the factory exploded. And even New york on the 9th of september. God bless all the victims and there families. And than I'm not even mentioning the war in the middle east or the other terrible things that are going on, without that most of us will notice them!!
Did some good things happen this year?? Hell yeah or prince announced that he finally is getting married in february next year. About time to cuz the man is in his mid thirties somewhere. The prince of sweden married this year. I can't think of some other good things so fast but I bet there are more.
Another big event that's been going on but stil hasn't happened yet. The euro, yup it's almost there and yet so unbelieveble. After all these years almost whole europe is changing to one way to pay. No more changing cash if you go to another country!! Except for a few countries. Its very weird, knowing that your paycheck will no longer be in guilders but be in euro's. And one euro is 2.20371 guilder!! weird!!!!
I already wish everyone a happy 2002 and I hope it will be a better one as 2001!!
