Let's start with "something old" - me.
Hello.
I'm Ilogunde.
I'm already beyond my twenties.
I'm German. Born in a country that doesn't exist anymore - the GDR or German Democratic Republic. As a child of a dictatorship I was used to believe that some things - or places - are unreachable for me. But times are changing. And so, in my teens, I lost my country - and gained a whole world in exchange.
After all this time, it sometimes still feels like a dream to travel to wherever I want to go.
I was able to see a few of the places I always wanted to see: the other half of my own country, France (especially Paris), Rome, Venice, the Atlantic Ocean... But there are a lot more left to visit. Like London, Japan, New Zealand...
I'm absolutely in love with history. Therefore I studied it. But I also studied Japanese Studies.
So I'm very interested in everything japanese and historic.
Since the day I learned to read, it was my favourite thing to do. It was (and is) my way to escape. Therefore I'm always interested in good fiction. Sometimes I start to write my own stories but time is a rare gift and so they often remain unfinished. A faint echo of an idea. However, sometimes they see the light of day.
So. That's me. There would a lot more to say. But for now it's enough.
