Pretty good day today. Went shopping. Have any of you ever heard of Gordman's? I haven't either, at least not since Friday. You know, if I could, I think I'd marry that store. I love them! I found a dress for graduation, a top for the skirt I got a few weeks ago, and lots of other stuff too! The dress is really pretty. It's black, with purple ties around the neck and the front. I'm really bad at describing these things, so just trust me that it's really pretty. I want to live at Gordman's!
Less than eight hours now until I get my braces off. I'm actually getting kind of nervous. I think I might actually miss these stupid pieces of metal glued to my teeth! I'm kind of scared that I'll like cry when they try to take them off (Because you know, I do that a lot...Cry I mean...) and beg the dental assistant to leave them. And, you know, shame every kid who ever had to wear braces. It's been two years though since I last felt the front of my teeth. I'm scared that all my teeth will fall out or something!
I'm listening to this CD that my dad's girlfriend lent me. It's called Closer, by Josh Groban. I counted, and he sings in FOUR different languages on the whole CD! English, Italian, French, AND Spanish! It's mostly in Italian though. There's this one song that I really like that's in Italian. (It's the one listed down below as the one I'm currently listening to.) I wanted to know what it meant, so I ran it though a translator online. You know what Il Postino means? The Mailman! What the crap is he singing about a postman for? The Mi Mancherai means something like You'll Miss Me, loosely translated. I still don't get the postman part though...
When me and my mum got in the car to go shopping, guess what we found around the steering wheel? The monster fricking thong from Friday! I don't even have to ask who put it there. I know it was Jake! (Yes, that's the one that built the fort in my tree and modeled the thong and basketball boobs.) It was kind of funny, but I STILL don't know what I'm going to do with it. Maybe I'll frame it or something...
