leaky ceilings and drew
this weekend was one of those grrr weekend that just ended a grrrrr week
worked wayyyy toooo much at job 1...and inventory last Monday at job 2...where i left at 1am after working allll day was not a good way to start the week
i took a nap on Saturday i was sooo wiped...and woke up to water dripping on my face...and yeah within the hour i had a HUGE water leak thing from my ceiling...we THINK it is a water pipe issue...my neighbor takes RIDICULOUSLY long showers and i could see it getting biggger and biiiggger til finally i banged on his door and said STOP the shower...now we just want for it to get fixed...my bed is up against a wall...i crashed elsewhere Saturday and Sunday night...tonight i am figuring out where
and last night drew called me from ir aq...they are on a 45 day mission but have limited contact
and i realized my week of crap is NOTHING compared to what he is seeing and doing every day...he has already lost a buddy or 2...the number he wont give me...i do know at least one from what he has said...they are still in 110 degree weather...still working basically 7 days a week 12 hour days...he is 19 dammit...and it seemed like there was a good 2-3 second delay in what we each were hearing and saying...talked for about 10-15 minutes and was sooo hard not to just cry...he sounded like a man soo much of the time...but a few times he sounded like a scared little boy...and i ached...
and apparently lj blocked at job 1 again as i typed this up and went to post and yeah wouldnt let me...so drafted into a yahooo mail for later
