Jab
I went for a flu jab today. I looked at the needle and freaked out. My respect for Jimjams have increased exponentially, what with the insane number of piercings she has on her face and ears.
My mother was quite narked when the doctor told her that the jab would reduce the chances of us contracting influenza. Outside the clinic, she exclaimed, "I want us to be protected from colds and coughs and fevers, not influenza!"
I said, "Mum, this is an immunization, not an immortalisation." The nurse laughed and gave us the wrong receipts.
Biology is getting boring. Although I can understand the whole heredity thing, I can't remember the sequence of cardiac cycle.
I am going back to SGH again later at three. Wish me luck! I really hope I can remove this stinking (figuratively and literally) cast.
