Not updated for aggeeessss as we are way too busy... or sleeping, whichever.
Had last week off, which was lovely - began with a picnic in Holland Park with a very good bunch of friends. We had managed to get last minute tickets to see Hairspray, which I thought at the time were really expensive because they only do the top range of tickets, but they still worked out to be half price. But we were row 17 on the Stalls (I have never been that close to the front without my Mum there (as she is in a wheelchair we get really good seats)and that was amazing. I have had the biggest crush on Michael Ball since I was about 14, so seeing him live was excellent.
We then had a really good night in a nice hotel in Kensington, followed by a day of Natral History Museum pootling and general shopping. We had sushi for lunch and got to the second hotel on Old Street which was very funky and very very comfy. Really good night (food notwith standing) and very relaxing. Then on Monday we shopped some more and came home, collecting teh kitteh on the way. The rest of the week involved spending time watching iPlayer, reading, playing with teh kitteh and getting more and more emotionally involved with Torchwood. I know everyone is bored with fangirl squeeing by now, but it is one of the few series these days that I am involved in, and it shocked me. The writing and the production was as fantastic as ever, but I don't quite know if I like what they have done. No, I know I hate it. But it is done now. Fangirling over now.
Work is crap, as per usual, I am now involved in a study that is being run by morons. And considering I was running my own study last month, I should know. Ho hum.
One day I will get over the whole baby thing. But my best friend from school has just given birth, and it still hits me hard. So I am currently half way down a packet of Nice biscuits with cream filling and will be on the pop tonight. The biscuits have no sugar on the top - I wonder why?
torchwood,
