the great IMDB project
the other day, adam printed out the IMDB top 250 movies list and suggested to me that we make a list of the ones that we have not seen, so that we can slowly netflix our way through them. thus began the great IMDB project!
a few notes:
- there are some movies on the list which only one of us has seen. the name of the person who has not seen the movie is in parenthesis next to the title.
- the IMDB top 250 list is constantly changing. i believe adam printed the list on saturday, july 26th, and that is the list i am using. already, a few of the movies in the 240-250 range of my list are off the current list.
- first priority is to watch the movies between #1 and #100 in order. if there are any movies between #101 and #250 that we are not too keen on watching (e.g. i am not excited about re-watching "ben hur," which adam has not seen), we can watch another list movie first.
- watched movies will be struck-through, with the watch date noted. coincidentally, the netflix movie that was at our apartment when adam printed the list was "the conversation," which is #182. not in order, but it was a start, so we let it slide. (and we randomly watched a few others on netflix instant, before realizing that they are on the list.)
