I know I haven't posted for awhile, but just had to mention how cheryldactyl and I are doing our job to raise the next generation of geeks.
Yesterday, M, our younger daughter (4), brought home a mask from summer camp. This mask is supposed to look like a spider. However, with a smiling face with what are supposed to be legs hanging down from the bottom, my first thought on seeing it was "They're having the kids make Cthulhu masks?". Apparently, I wasn't the only on with these thoughts.
S, our older daughter (9), got ahold of it, but it on, and said, "I'm Cthulhu." But it gets better.
Since it was pretty difficult for her to see out of the mask, I asked her to take it off after she bumped into the wall for the 3rd time. She said she didn't want to and started chanting "I like Cthulhu". Yes, apparently we're raising Cultists. :)
