Thees ees driving me MAD!

First off, did any of you ever notice how warm and comfy cloaks are? And the weird looks one gets when one wears them into the 7-11?

But okay, down to business (ha!). See, these fics are driving me mad. My muses are annoying the heck out of me.

Particularly Boromir. See, there's this happy little idea I had a few months ago for a brotherslash fic, and I wrote it, and set it aside, went back a month later and did a re-write, changed it from the ground up, set it aside, and now I have come back to it, and am working on yet another complete re-write, and Boromir is seriously not being cooperative. He keeps insistently telling me very non-slashy stuff. I say "Slash, dammit!" and he says "Waaaait! Let me tell you about the first battle I fought! Let me tell you bawdy soldiers' drinking songs! They're funny! Really! You'll like them!" And the really annoying thing is that they are funny, but I... think he's just getting silly on me. I think he enjoys seeing me blink in consternation. And of course Faramir is almost as annoying. He just sits there, grinning and being absurdly patient as Boz talks my ear off, and shakes his head when Boz invents another verse to one of his songs (they are very bawdy! And it makes me wonder if he has been in Crossoverland spending time with Blind Rhysling...) So, somebody needs to come and smack me and tell me what to do here, with three versions of the same fic, and two annoying muses. And tell Boromir to quit making me laugh so much that I can't get any work done. Do you suppose if I let him tell it the way he wants, he'll cooperate with slashiness, and get Faz to help, once he is satisfied? Maybe I'll try that...
