The rain had started tapping...

I can never quite decide on an appropriate introduction to my blog posts! Sometimes I feel like jumping right into a random subject that's currently floating in the stormy seas of my cognition, but then I feel my readers would end up drowning in minutia. Thus this will have to do as my intro.

The stormy heavens have been predicted to release a deluge upon the low-lying city of Charleston tomorrow! Ernesto's gift, I suppose. The predicted waters have also washed away all of tomorrows classes! (and tomorrow small cars and the masses of cockroaches!) Naturally the students are rejoicing but I alone am upset to miss History and English tomorrow. :/ I truly enjoy my classes.

From the topic of academics I will proceed to my social life... surprisingly, I actually have one! I've met several really great people here. People have wonderful tastes in music, great personality, and humbling intellects. I do miss everyone at home though. Even though I know I'll see them eventually, knowing that I am so far away leaves me with a feeling of "cut-offed-ness".

I have a little bit more to sy, but I'll wait until another time to write it. :]
