My friends and I didn't go out today. How mega-BAH. One of them said he doesn't have any money (when duh, he has some, he'll just use it for playing that online RPG game) and the other didn't know how to get to where we'll meet up. So that's just two of us, and well, that's just corny so we decided to not go ahead with the plans.
Bummer.
But I really had to go to Powerbooks and then stop by Metrowalk for the bootleg DVDs. :D I've been wanting to go since Thursday but kept postponing it because I'm lazy and that I was so sure I'd be able to go with someone anyway.
*sigh* If only I knew I'd end up going alone, I'd have gone days earlier and had the DVDs and books earlier!
Bought Naruto season 3 DVDs because that is my current obsession after all...:D I'm still looking for Fruits Basket. Hopefully they'll have some tomorrow!
And FINALLY! I have the first book in the Narnia series, The Magician's Nephew (C.S. Lewis), and The Princess Bride (William, er, something)! I've been looking for these books forever! I do hope I learned that Powerbooks has had a 20% sale ever since August 1; I would've bought all the Narnia books there instead of scurrying around random bookstores. =\ Hmph.
Now I can finally start reading the Narnia series and then make some The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe icons! Squee!
Anyway. So after doing all those in Ortigas, I went to my friend's house. I originally told my mom I'd meet up with friends in Megamall, but because I just know she'd lecture me about wasting money, I didn't. And since all the "shopping" was done within an hour and a half, I decided to spend the time with my friend who I was supposed to meet yesterday. But he got sick with what seems to be the flu, so we didn't go. And yes, he's STILL SICK with the flu when I went to his house today, so I was keeping a bit of distance. I soooo hope I don't catch the virus!
Review classes start this Monday and I am UBER ANNOYED that they have scheduled the majority of the classes during the weekends! Fucking hell. I won't be able to watch Fruits Basket! I won't be able to go with my family to church or our Sunday luncheons! Ugh, I hate it! If only I knew, I wouldn't have enrolled in that effin' review school...grrr.
ETA: Because I'm so tired, I forgot to mention that when I got home "late" (it was fucking past 7:30 PM, lordy) my dad was going "You stayed this late in Megamall?" To which I replied, "You let Eri (my sister) stay up to 12 AM in Eastwood". Of course, included between those words are "and she's 15, I'm fucking 20 years old." PFT.
Yeah, he didn't have anything parent-y to say about that.
ETA #2:
audio_b0xer -- can you please ask you friend where s/he downloaded the Fruits Basket manga? They are translated versions, right? :D
