the entertainment world has got me hooked...
Am I the only (sane) one who is seriously distressed/disgusted/just all out icked that Jennifer Garner actually said 'I do' (without being nauseous) in a wedding ceremony with him? And of course, they had to be one of those who had fun frolicking around the bed (or wherever) sometime during the Valentine month. I cannot believe Affleck Junior/s will be running around the world. I am deeply disturbed.
Anyway. Just saw Batman Begins, to which I only have one thing to say -- t'was good. And Christian Bale continues to be his wonderful-looking self, even years after being Laurie in Little Women. :D I hear they've signed him up to do more Batman movies? In the meantime, I guess I can live with another Spiderman this coming December (there is one coming out this December, right?)
But of course, before December, there goes Goblet of Fire first! And speaking of which, I was just mightily amused that Gary Oldman was in Batman Begins. I was watching the credits obsessively because I wasn't sure it was him, and I caught myself waiting for the name 'Sirius Black' to come out instead of Gary Oldman. Hehehehehe.
Ooh, and apparently, Viggo Mortensen was approached to play 'Ra's Al Ghul'. If he didn't decline the part, that'd be like my two biggest fandoms colliding! :D
I called up my friend who failed the boards yesterday, and he seemed alright. We both just geeked out for a full hour over Naruto. Hee.
